Mole Riding

In high school, Jason and I had the best chemistry teacher - Mrs. Abraham. (Also, my favorite teacher) She was hard, but she was fun! (Jason & I met in her Advanced Chemistry class). During the school year we got to celebrate "Mole Day" (October 23rd this year). Now what does this have to do with Chemistry . . . do you remember Avogadro's number - "The number of molecules in a mole of a substance, approximately 6.0225 × 10^23".

Anyway, Ms. Abe gave us patterns to make moles. She had a mini mole, so Jason decided to make a mega mole. He intended to give it to her, but the girlfriend had precedence (sorry Ms. Abe). Well this shows how much of sentimental packrats we are - we still have both of our moles and they are in the closet of the baby's room. We got the Mega Mole down and the comment was that it was big enough for Ezekiel to ride. Since then - Ezekiel rides the mole. He was extremely silly the day Jason took the videos. (The videos were taken on a digital camera, so not the best and they are sideways.)

  1. I know this post is old, but I just have to say Mole Day was great. Chloe still plays with my "Elvis Mole" :)
