On Wednesday Ezekiel had a terrible fit. I was at first thinking, if this is "two" I'm not sure I want any more kids! Then it seemed to be so out of character for him, I began to think something was wrong. I kept asking him if something hurt. Does you tummy hurt, does you head hurt, even being silly and asking if his finger hurt, does you toe hurt? He wouldn't say anything, well other than "go away". (Which I now wish we wouldn't have said that to Tigger, the cat, so often). Finally I left him alone in his room.
He came down stairs and knocked something over, so I sat him on the couch and said this is not appropriate behavior. Finally he stopped crying/yelling and said "I wanna hold you" (meaning - hold me). So I sat down on the couch and held him. Finally he said "milk, I want milk". I asked him if he'd like some warm milk and he said "uh hun". So I got him so warm milk, and asked him if anything hurt. He sort of put his fist to his ear and said his head hurt. So I asked, "does your head hurt or your ear". He said his ear. I then told him if his ear hurt we needed to go to the doctor. I don't think he really responded.
Then a few moments later he asked, "where is Ev-lyn".
Mom: "She's in her crib"
Z: "Go get her. Put her in car seat"
Mom: "Why do I need to put her in her car seat? Where are we going?"
Z: "To the doctor."
Not, "My ear hurts" or "go doctor", but go get Evelyn. Hmmm.
He does have an ear infection in one ear, and the other one was irritated. (His first) No fever by the way.
